About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Counsellor to join our team at Workplace Options LLC. As a key member of our wellbeing services team, you will play a critical role in supporting the psychological health and resilience of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Implement Psychological Health Plans: Create and maintain site-specific psychological health plans, ensuring compliance and effectiveness.
  2. Provide One-on-One Coaching and Support: Offer regular and on-demand one-on-one coaching sessions, prioritizing immediate needs, and utilizing various communication methods to provide instant coaching support.
  3. Facilitate Group Coaching Sessions: Develop and deliver group coaching sessions tailored to team-specific and gender-specific needs, ensuring a supportive environment.
  4. Design and Deliver Wellbeing Training: Develop curriculum for new hire and refresher training on resilience, and deliver well-being and resilience training developed by the customer, if required.
  5. Provide Psychological Support and Guidance: Offer appropriate psychological support to personnel affected by their work, identifying the need for and proposing rotations or program changes for personnel experiencing significant psychological difficulties.
  6. Conduct Resilience and Wellbeing Surveys: Conduct periodic resilience and wellbeing surveys, making recommendations based on the results, and creating methods to evaluate program success.
  7. Submit Monthly Reports: Maintain and submit monthly reports on psychological health data, coaching hours, service utilization, and other relevant metrics.
  8. Ensure Awareness of EAP Services: Ensure awareness about the availability of a 24/7 external EAP service to all personnel.
  9. Develop Promotion and Awareness Material: Assist in developing promotion and awareness material for well-being and resilience services and tools.
Requirements
  1. Master's Degree in Counselling or Health Psychology: A Master's degree in Counselling or Health Psychology, Therapeutic Counselling, Psychotherapy, or Clinical Social Work.
  2. Licensed to Provide Counselling Services: Licensed to provide counselling services in Ontario.
  3. Minimum of Three Years Post-Graduate Experience: Minimum of three years post-graduate client/patient-facing clinical experience, including supervised practice.
  4. Proven Experience in Providing One-on-One Care: Proven experience in providing one-on-one care and designing/delivering group-based interventions.
  5. Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  6. Ability to Handle Sensitive Information: Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  7. Ability to Manage Multiple Tasks: Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
  8. Empathetic and Approachable: Empathetic, approachable, and able to build trust with employees.
  9. Knowledge of Best Practices in Psychological Health: Knowledge of best practices in psychological health and resilience training.
  10. Proficient in Using Video Conferencing Tools: Proficient in using video conferencing tools, Microsoft Office.
