About This Role

Mondelēz International is seeking a skilled Machinist - Tool & Die Maker to join our team in a heavy industrial environment. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various equipment and systems to meet our safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability, and morale targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain equipment to support various producing units, including power saws, manual lathes, milling machines, and other machinery.
  • Perform tasks to support operations of various producing units, including reading and understanding CNC programs and producing simple programming.
  • Inspect raw materials and finished product to meet specifications.
  • Operate and inspect material handling equipment, including overhead and mobile cranes, light mobile equipment, and hand-held equipment.
  • Assist with the maintenance or repair of equipment.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and management.

Requirements

  • General Machinist Certificate of Qualification (429A) or Tool and Die Maker Certificate of Qualification (403A).
  • Minimum of two years' experience in an industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of machine operations, TPM-Total Productive Maintenance Tools, and safety and quality standards for operating machinery.
  • Ability to work in a unionized, highly industrial setting and adapt to varying hours of work, including 8 and 12 hour rotating shifts.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed and maintain punctuality and attendance.
