About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at GNK Holdings. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and perform adjustments and minor repairs on heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with Contractors: Work with external contractors to coordinate major repairs and maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruption to our operations.
  • Ensure Safety and Security: Conduct regular safety and security checks to identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring a secure and healthy environment for all.
  • Operate Heavy Equipment: Safely operate heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, and perform physically demanding tasks as required.
  • Work Independently: Work independently with minimal supervision, using your initiative and problem-solving skills to resolve issues and complete tasks efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
  • Language: English
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
