Job Summary:

Crystal Claire Cosmetics Inc is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, and other related duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect buildings and other structures to determine functional systems and detect malfunctions and needed repair
  • Perform minor electrical maintenance, including replacement or repair of fixtures, and minor appliances
  • Perform minor plumbing maintenance, including replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, and unclogging of drains
  • Perform minor painting, carpentry, and masonry work, including preparing surfaces and applying paints, stains, and varnishes
  • Reconfigure, install, position, and remount modular offices and space, including furniture, wall panels, work surfaces, lighting, and file cabinets
  • Prepare surfaces and paint various structures and equipment, including walls, refrigerators, evaporative coolers, floors, roofs, doors, and restroom facilities

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in facility maintenance and working in a manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Completion of high school education
  • Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry is a plus
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic shop tools

Working Conditions:

The Facilities Maintenance Technician will work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and humidity levels. The position requires the ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects, and to work at heights.
