Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and proactive individual to take on the role of Supervisor for our Cellular Router Assembly, Testing, and Packaging operations. In this position, you will be tasked with managing the assembly, testing, and packaging processes of cellular routers, ensuring compliance with quality standards and efficient production workflows. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in manufacturing operations, exceptional leadership abilities, and a meticulous attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of the Cellular Router Assembly, Testing, and Packaging team to ensure seamless and effective operations.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on assembly, testing, and packaging protocols, along with safety measures and quality standards.
- Monitor production timelines and workflows to achieve production goals and deadlines.
- Conduct regular quality assessments to confirm that products meet specified standards and requirements.
- Perform quality audits to assess compliance with quality management systems and identify areas for enhancement.
- Address any discrepancies or issues promptly, implementing corrective measures as needed.
- Enhance production processes and workflows to boost efficiency and productivity.
- Manage inventory levels and material flow to align with production needs and minimize waste.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and protocols, including Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) precautions.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Engineering and Quality Assurance, to resolve technical challenges and elevate product quality.
- Provide constructive feedback and conduct performance evaluations for team members.
- Identify training needs and opportunities for team members to develop their skills and capabilities.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Generate reports on production performance, quality metrics, and other key performance indicators for senior management.
- Ensure all equipment and workstations comply with Manufacturing Software system requirements.
- Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded in Manufacturing Software systems.
- Conduct employee performance evaluations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant experience will be considered.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role within manufacturing operations, ideally in electronics assembly or a related field.
- Strong understanding of assembly, testing, and packaging processes, as well as quality management principles.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and coach team members.
- Proven problem-solving capabilities and decision-making skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
- Able to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and manufacturing software systems (e.g., SAP, Agile).
- Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and practices is preferred.
- Must have 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, focusing on assembly, testing, and packaging.
- Working knowledge of quality audits and experience in implementing corrective actions based on audit findings.
