Teaching Opportunities in Elementary Schools

The District School Board of Niagara is seeking qualified and experienced Elementary Occasional Teachers to join our team. As an Elementary Occasional Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of schools throughout the Niagara region, gaining valuable teaching experience and supporting the needs of students across the system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide instruction and support to students in elementary grades
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver curriculum
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to ensure student success
Requirements:
  • Good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
  • Conditions of employment include maintaining good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers, providing a Criminal Background Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening, and agreeing to comply with the Board's policies, procedures, and code of conduct
