Teaching Opportunities with the District School Board of Niagara

We are seeking qualified and dedicated Elementary Occasional Teachers to join our team at the District School Board of Niagara. As an Occasional Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of schools throughout the Niagara region, gaining valuable teaching experience and supporting the needs of students across the system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide instruction and support to students in grades JK-8
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
  • Conditions of Employment: Maintain good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers, provide a Criminal Background Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening, and agree to comply with the Board's policies, procedures, and code of conduct
