About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Conversion Strategist to join our team at Lawson Products. As a Sales Conversion Strategist, you will play a critical role in driving conversion of local strategic account opportunities through the identification, approach, winning, and tracking of business opportunities for accounts with preferred supplier agreements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conversion Strategy Development: Develop and implement conversion strategies to drive growth and revenue from existing strategic accounts.
  • Account Identification and Approach: Identify and approach new business opportunities within existing strategic accounts, working closely with internal stakeholders to build relationships and drive sales.
  • Winning and Tracking Opportunities: Work with cross-functional teams to win and track conversion opportunities, ensuring timely and effective communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to field sales personnel on winning strategic account locations, sharing knowledge and best practices across the organization.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously review and improve procedural documentation, ensuring a proactive approach to process improvement and efficiency.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with internal departments to achieve business objectives, maintaining professional and technical knowledge through ongoing education and training.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree with 3 years of strategic account-related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Selling and Closing Abilities: Strong selling and closing abilities for meaningful accounts, with a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Customer Service and Teamwork Skills: Excellent customer service and teamwork skills, with the ability to develop working relationships with internal partners and external customers.
  • Project Management and Organizational Skills: Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task, remain detail-oriented, and accurate, and follow-up to ensure success.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Office skills to meet administrative needs.
  • Travel and Physical Demands: Ability to travel 70% of the time, with the ability to lift 50 pounds and possess a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to obtain and maintain vehicular insurance as required by policy.
