Job Title: Occupational Health Nurse

Agilus is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Health Nurse to join our team in Oakville, Ontario. As an Occupational Health Nurse, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide medical care and treatment to employees with work-related injuries or illnesses
  • Conduct health assessments and provide recommendations for return to work
  • Develop and implement health and safety programs to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses
  • Collaborate with management and employees to identify and mitigate health and safety risks
  • Administer and document medical surveillance examinations, pre-employment assessments, and respirator fit testing
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses
  • Excellent knowledge of Ontario Health & Safety legislation and the Standards of College of Nurses
  • Experience in occupational health and clinical/emergency response settings
  • Strong interpersonal skills, decision-making abilities, and ability to work independently or as part of a team
