We are seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our Mental Health Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform mental health and risk assessments
- Provide one-to-one supportive therapy and medical care
- Work collaboratively with the Emergency Department and inpatient Programs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current BCLS Certification
- Minimum of 3 years recent experience in emergency, crisis & mental health
- Advanced skill in the assessment and management of acute mental health and concurrent disorders conditions
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
