Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Cashier to join our team at 2418416 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Process Payments: Tabulate total payments, receive payment for goods and services, and provide change as needed.
  • Stock Shelves and Clean Counter Area: Maintain a clean and well-stocked environment, ensuring a positive experience for our customers.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Participate in Promotional Activities: Assist with promotional events, sales, and marketing initiatives to drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in electronic cash registers, Interac machines, price scanners, and computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation is required.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and maintain attention to detail.
