We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Director, Client Operations, Fund Administration to lead a team of fund accountants. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of client deliverables, including NAV production, financial statements, and associated reports.
Responsibilities- Lead and mentor a team of fund accountants, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of all client deliverables, adhering to strict service level agreements.
- Collaborate closely with investment managers, brokers, and auditors to resolve operational issues and ensure smooth client relationships.
- Work cross-functionally with other teams, such as Investor Operations, finance, regulatory reporting, and banking, to coordinate efforts and achieve organizational goals.
- Participate in system improvement projects, contributing to the development and implementation of innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Oversee the audit process, ensuring compliance with SOC1 controls and relevant checklists.
- Manage fee billing and collection processes for your assigned team.
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in the fund administration industry, with at least 2 years in a Private Equity role.
- Proven ability to manage and lead teams effectively.
- Strong understanding of fund administration principles, including multiple fund structures, fee calculations, financial instruments, and fund offering documentation review.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with fund accounting software (Investran is an asset).
