About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at McDonald's Restaurants. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service counter attendants and food preparers, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and establish methods to meet work schedules.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Operations: Prepare and submit reports, supervise and check assembly of trays, and establish work schedules.
  • Staff Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide feedback and coaching to improve performance.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or retail environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
