**About Us:** BWX Technologies, Inc. is a leading provider of nuclear technology solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Proposal Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive proposal packages for major bids, including cost estimates, schedules, and risk registers.
  • Collaborate with project management, business line managers, legal, and other internal stakeholders to develop competitive proposals.
  • Lead contract negotiations with customers and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide day-to-day supervision to the proposal team and review all proposal documentation for grammar, comprehension, and marketability.
  • Develop and maintain standardized processes, procedures, and templates for proposal development.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Post-graduate degree in Business Administration is an asset.
  • 5-10 years of related experience and a post-secondary engineering or other technical degree/certificate or an MBA.
  • Excellent relationship building skills and the ability to effectively impact and influence.
  • Proven negotiating skills, excellent communication (both written and spoken) and presentation abilities.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • PMP designation or working toward same.
  • Ability to work under pressure and within tight schedules.
