Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our finance team at Expansion and play a key role in financial management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing, implementing, and managing budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure accurate financial planning and analysis.
  • Ownership of monthly and annual accounting closing and reporting.
  • Conducting regular P&L reviews, providing insightful analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making.
  • Preparing and presenting financial reports, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Ownership of local and international tax, ensuring timely reporting, payment and compliance.
  • Monitoring costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Performing detailed financial analysis, identifying trends & variances.
  • Collaborating with our Compliance team in ensuring adherence to financial regulations and internal controls, maintaining the integrity and accuracy of financial data.
  • Developing Procurement function (with other stakeholders) to ensure adherence with local rules and regulations.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Financial Controller position or similar role, preferably within the gaming or tech industry.
  • Strong understanding and expertise in budgeting and forecasting, financial analysis and P&L reviews.
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Advanced Excel and QB skills.
  • CPA designation would be a significant advantage.
