Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Group Leader to join our EXCEL program team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading groups of elementary age students in before and/or after school programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead groups of elementary age students in before and/or after school programs
- Develop and implement recreational programming for students
- Provide support and guidance to students as needed
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and needs
Requirements:
- Minimum of one year's experience working with elementary age students
- Knowledge of recreational programming
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- High School Completion Certificate or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid First Aid/CPR Certification
