Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Specialist, Compliance to join our team at TSX Inc. This role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the Exchange's continued listing requirements, identifying noncompliance, and taking appropriate action.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze financial and continuous disclosure documentation to ensure compliance with listing requirements.
  • Identify and address noncompliance with listing agreements, policies, and applicable securities and corporate legislation.
  • Conduct reinstatement reviews to ensure issuers meet specific Exchange requirements.
  • Prepare correspondence and negotiate with issuer management and counsel.
  • Provide analysis and recommendations to senior team managers.
  • Offer guidance and mentorship to issuers and their advisors.
  • Perform special assignments as required by senior team managers or managing directors.
  • Ensure accurate billing and timely collection of fees.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent with a specialization in accounting.
  • Ability to read and analyze financial statements with understanding of IFRS and US GAAP.
  • Enrollment in an accounting designation is an asset.
  • Minimum 2 years of related business experience, preferably in the securities industry.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Strong management, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently with time constraints.
  • Completion of the Canadian Securities Course and other industry-related courses is an asset.
  • Familiarity with TSX Venture Exchange's Listed Issuer Corporate Finance Manual, the Securities Act, and the Business Corporations Act is an asset.
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office and Google for work applications.
