About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Intermediate Structural Engineer to join our team at Entuitive. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering structural engineering solutions for various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Structural Engineering Design: Develop and implement structural engineering designs for buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with our BIM technologists and other team members to assemble and coordinate engineering drawings and contract documents.
  • Field Reviews and Administrative Duties: Conduct field reviews and perform other contract administrative duties as required.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Participate in client meetings, facilitate solutions to design issues, and provide status updates to clients and stakeholders.
  • Quality Assurance: Effectively use QA tools and complete checklists to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Mentorship and Training: Mentor junior staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality projects.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: An engineering degree with a focus on civil and structural engineering, coupled with 4-8 years of professional experience in the AEC industry.
  • Professional Certification: Achieved or working towards professional engineering (P.Eng) status in the Province of Ontario.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of building codes, project management, and structural analysis software (ETABS, SAP2000, RAM, etc.).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work with people at all levels.
