Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections of seafood products to ensure they meet company standards
  • Take samples of products at various stages of processing to test for quality and specifications
  • Examine ingredients and finished products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards
  • Conduct routine tests for product specifications and ensure hygiene and sanitation practices conform to policies and regulations
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required
  • Experience: Experience an asset
  • Physical capabilities: Standing for extended periods, manual dexterity, attention to detail
  • Work conditions: Cold/refrigerated, wet/damp, repetitive tasks
  • Work language: English or French
  • Hours: 30 to 70 hours per week
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and safety. The work site environment may include odours, cold/refrigerated temperatures, and wet/damp conditions.
