Banquet Supervisor Job Description

Veg Delight Pizza Bakery & Restaurant Limited is seeking a skilled Banquet Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of banquets and events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules and deadlines.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality service and presentation.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing resources.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and submit reports on event details, including food orders, inventory, and customer feedback.
  • Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries and ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future events.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the food service industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Excellent problem-solving and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with a focus on maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with frequent lifting and carrying of objects.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and communication.
Language:

English is the primary language of communication in this role.

Work Schedule:

40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
