Banquet Kitchen Supervisor
The Banquet Kitchen Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of Fantasyland Hotel's banquet kitchens. Reporting directly to the Banquet Chef, this individual assists in supervising staff and overseeing daily kitchen operations to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Banquet Chef in managing kitchen staff and resources to meet banquet demands.
- Collaborate with the Executive Sous Chef to develop and implement innovative menu ideas and ensure menu consistency across all banquet events.
- Develop and maintain relationships with banquet clients to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular kitchen inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel standards.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, providing constructive feedback and guidance to enhance their performance.
- Participate in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality.
Requirements:
- A minimum of three to five years of experience in a senior kitchen role, preferably in a hotel or fine dining setting.
- Canadian Red Seal Certification or Journeyman Ticket is an asset.
- Excellent knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and safety protocols.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Familiarity with Fantasyland Hotel's policies, procedures, and service standards.
