Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Field Review Engineer to join our team in Greater Vancouver, BC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of engineers to conduct field reviews, evaluate compliance with design documentation and construction quality procedures, and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of engineers to conduct field reviews and inspections at construction sites.
  • Evaluate compliance with design documentation and construction quality procedures.
  • Coordinate with designers to provide engineering support during construction.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of field reviews and observations.
  • Coordinate with contractors, engineers, architects, and other construction specialists.
  • Monitor compliance of construction activities with design documentation.
  • Coordinate and perform reviews of construction quality records, shop drawings, and other construction documents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience as a field review engineer on infrastructure construction projects.
  • Registered or eligible to register with Engineers and Geoscientists BC.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience working on collaborative and/or Design-Build projects.
