Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Field Review Engineer to join our team in Greater Vancouver, BC. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for managing a team of engineers conducting field reviews and evaluating compliance with design documentation and construction quality procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of engineers performing engineering support during construction.
  • Conduct field reviews and visits at construction sites to ensure compliance with design documentation and construction quality procedures.
  • Coordinate with designers to provide engineering support during construction, including QA/QC documentation.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of field reviews and observations.
  • Coordinate with contractors, engineers, architects, and other construction specialists to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor compliance of construction activities with design documentation and bring site and design issues to the attention of the design team.
  • Perform reviews of construction quality records, shop drawings, and other construction documents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience as a field review engineer on infrastructure construction projects.
  • Registered or eligible to register with Engineers and Geoscientists BC.
  • Technical competencies in site experience on infrastructure construction projects, bridge design principles, and practices.
  • Knowledge of relevant codes, including CSA S6, CSA A23.1, A23.2, A23.3, and A23.4.
  • Experience in site inspection/observation and health, safety, and security best practices.

What We Offer
