Process Improvement Specialist

BioVectra Inc. is a leading contract drug manufacturing organization (CDMO) that supports top pharmaceutical and biotech companies worldwide. We are passionate about improving patient care by making better therapeutics.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Improvement Specialist to join our team. This is a permanent position based out of our facility.

The Process Improvement Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving operational excellence throughout the organization. You will be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements across all business functions, with a particular emphasis on Manufacturing Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, prioritize, and execute improvement initiatives that yield measurable results, particularly within Manufacturing Operations.
  • Lead and facilitate Kaizen events aimed at driving continuous improvement in key areas.
  • Develop and maintain metrics to effectively track and measure the impact of process improvements.
  • Regularly analyze operations KPIs to uncover opportunities for improvements.
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma principles to all related projects and activities, ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to sustain a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Mentor and coach cross-functional teams in identifying opportunities and executing improvement projects.
  • Assist in training employees on the proper application of Continuous Improvement tools and methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' work experience in a similar role, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully creating and executing project plans that meet or exceed objectives.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or demonstrated knowledge is essential.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships.
  • Extensive knowledge on process improvement tools and methodologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from planning to execution.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Operations Management, Process engineering, or equivalent degree and experience.
