Position Overview

AG MECHANICAL LTD. is seeking a skilled Gas Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in gas heating systems and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 to less than 3 years of relevant experience in the field.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in various settings, including:

  • Commercial establishments
  • Residential properties
Key Responsibilities
  • Install gas heating units and their associated components.
  • Accurately measure and mark reference points for the installation of gas lines and equipment.
  • Perform servicing and maintenance on gas heating units and their components.
  • Repair and service gas appliances and related equipment.
  • Provide clients with guidance on standards, safety features, and maintenance of gas units and systems.
  • Conduct tests and adjustments on control mechanisms and check for gas leaks using specialized detecting devices.
  • Install and maintain propane and natural gas filling stations.
Physical Requirements

This role is physically demanding and requires:

  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel as necessary
Work Conditions

This is a permanent position with a standard work schedule of 40 hours per week. The primary language of work is English.
