Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Cambridge, Ontario. As a member of our finance team, you will be responsible for processing vendor invoices, issuing payments, and performing daily banking and credit card transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices and ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Match and code invoices for proper authorization and payment.
- Process weekly cheque runs and monitor vendor accounts for outstanding issues and payments.
- Perform daily bank deposits and credit card payments.
- Monitor Accounts Receivable Subledger to ensure customer accounts are up to date.
- Communicate with customers to request payments and resolve any issues.
- Perform general office duties, including mail distribution and answering incoming calls.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Reliable and team-oriented individual.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment.
