About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Clerk to join our team at INFINITY HVAC LTD. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Payroll Administration: Prepare cheques for payroll and ensure timely payment to employees.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Familiarity with scanner equipment and ability to operate it efficiently.
  • Area of Specialization: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently with attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, excellent written communication, and strong judgement skills.
  • Experience: Previous experience in accounting or bookkeeping is an asset.
  • Work Schedule: 35 hours per week, permanent position.
  • Language of Work: English.
