Culinary Team Leader
POSITION SUMMARY: The Culinary Team Leader supports the Assistant Manager and General Manager in overseeing operational tasks and responsibilities, ensuring that all activities align with and enhance the restaurant's strategic objectives. The Culinary Team Leader guarantees that all Team Members fulfill their job duties and meet expectations across all facets of their roles.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure exceptional hospitality service; proactively anticipate and fulfill guest needs; address situations and requests promptly and positively.
- Effectively oversee the restaurant's operations to identify potential issues; take immediate action to rectify any problem areas.
- Consistently uphold and enforce all quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
- Monitor staffing levels and manage labor costs effectively.
- Foster a welcoming environment for both Team Members and Guests.
- Provide effective training, guidance, and supervision to Team Members.
- Support initiatives aimed at maximizing sales and profits while minimizing controllable expenses.
- Plan, organize, and execute all operational routines and activities during your shift efficiently.
- Maintain a cooperative and harmonious working relationship with management and fellow team members.
- Ensure compliance with all sanitation, safety, and security policies and procedures.
- Exhibit professionalism and meet company standards in personal appearance at all times.
- Recognize and adhere to all HR, sanitation, safety, and security protocols to ensure a safe and compliant environment for everyone.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Capable of working in high-temperature environments.
- Comfortable working in close quarters with others.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds with ease.
- Experience working with various cleaning agents.
EXPERIENCE:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including both opening and closing shifts.
- Reliable transportation and communication method with the restaurant are essential.

- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to maintain respect and rapport with your team.
- Guest-focused mindset.
- Capacity to make effective decisions under pressure while appropriately delegating tasks.
