Job Title: Civil Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Specialist to join our team at Hatch. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing and supporting studies and projects related to water resources and water management.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee hydrotechnical engineering analyses and designs in collaboration with Civil and Geotechnical Engineers.
  2. Prepare detailed technical reports, drawings, specifications, and correspondence.
  3. Identify key opportunities in the Hydrotechnical Engineering Discipline with a focus on local region.
  4. Mentor junior engineers, designers, and technicians.
  5. Undertake technical reviews of documents and technical drawings prepared by the team.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Water Resources and/or Civil Engineering Hydrology and Hydraulics.
  2. 5+ years post-graduation Hydrotechnical Engineering experience in a multidiscipline environment.
  3. Registered, or eligible to be registered, and licensed to practice as a Professional Engineer.
  4. Demonstrated experience in a variety of Civil Engineering Hydrology and Hydraulics applications.
  5. Leadership skills with a proven aptitude to mentor and develop junior engineers, designers, and technicians.
  6. Team focused with excellent interpersonal skills and understanding of multidisciplinary projects.
  7. Good working knowledge of specialized Hydrotechnical software and modeling tools.
