About the Role:
Fed Manutech is seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team in Montreal East. As a Process Engineer, you will play a critical role in the manufacture of chemical products, working closely with the Production Manager to ensure the smooth operation of our plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the start-up project of the plant, ensuring a seamless transition to production.
- Implement new equipment and processes, optimizing production efficiency and quality.
- Analyze and report on current processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Manage production startups and shutdowns, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Monitor process improvement projects, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
- Conduct quality control checks, identifying and rectifying nonconformities to ensure high-quality products.
- Utilize analytical and synthetic skills to optimize production processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of production tools and processes.
- Experience in chemistry or petrochemistry is a significant asset, but not required.
- This is a permanent position, working 40 hours over 5 days, with shift work involved.
