Your contributions to the team:

  • Program aeronautical components using Catia V5 (5 axes) and validate G-code with Vericut
  • Create electronic visual aids for component manufacturing (operator's manual)
  • Develop and implement innovative programming methods to reduce programming times through macros or automated routines
  • Generate machining strategy estimates, including programming and machining durations
  • Address quality issues related to components during machining
  • Assist methods teams in resolving challenges involving small pneumatic tools and cutting tools
  • Design 3D models of cutting tools (manual, for numerical control machines, and for drilling machines) for suppliers
  • Evaluate the necessity for new cutting tools and draft technical specifications

Essential skills, knowledge & experience:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Aeronautical Engineering Technology, or relevant experience
  • A minimum of five (5) years of NC programming experience with Catia V5 and Vericut-Machine Sim
  • Relevant experience with cutting tools and a strong interest in this area
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes in the aeronautics sector (preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Knowledge of geometric tolerancing (GT&T)
  • Organized and capable of working under tight deadlines
  • Creative and enthusiastic about developing new working methods
  • Strong analytical skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Fluency in both French and English
