We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at ML Sushi Take Out. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.
Responsibilities- Determine food portion sizes and costs to ensure efficient food preparation and minimize waste.
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements to meet customer demand.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including those for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
- Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain a well-equipped kitchen.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Permanent employment.
- English language proficiency.
- Ability to work 30-40 hours per week.
- Japanese cuisine.
