  • As an Optical Associate, you will play a critical role in delivering world-class service to our patients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • You will be responsible for educating clients about the best eyewear choices for their lifestyle, ensuring they receive the best in value and quality.
  • You will inform patients about advances in corrective eyewear solutions and assist with the selection of frames to suit their aesthetic and performance needs.
  • You will interpret optical prescriptions as written by an optometrist and perform frame and facial measurements to ensure correct fit and positioning of new eyewear.
  • You will place Contact Lens orders and assist with fittings, communicating with patients in person and by phone.
  • You will manage appointment bookings, prescription printouts, and billing and payments, upholding excellent customer service standards.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing, preferably retail environment (preferred)
  • Previous optical experience is considered an asset
  • Passionate about customer service and delivering exceptional patient care
  • A high level of comfort using technology and computers
  • A great communicator who can provide exceptional patient care
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
