Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Content & Communications Specialist to join our Training and Development Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting department-wide initiatives and contributing to the development of engaging content for our clients and employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with department members to support new and ongoing projects, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Coordinate and plan quarterly conferences for our Head Office, Training & Development team, and branch employees, managing agendas and related materials.
  • Plan and host training sessions, utilizing your expertise to create engaging and informative content.
  • Work with our Strategy and Communications team to build branch and internal communications plans, ensuring alignment with our company's goals and objectives.
  • Maintain and update our RBC Connect Site, creating blog posts, editing page layouts, and posting monthly announcements.
  • Develop and edit written articles, videos, and department presentations, adhering to our company's brand guidelines.
  • Input and track training events and session attendance for team training sessions using Salesforce.
  • Assist in coordination and administrative tasks for virtual and in-person training programs and calls.
  • Support the upkeep and maintenance of office policies and procedures, ensuring efficient office operations.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to update existing training content and create new content as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in content creation and communication.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Creative and analytical thinking, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
