Job Summary:

Closing the Gap Healthcare Group is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality therapy services to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and develop accurate therapy care plans based on the client's real environment, promoting client safety and well-being.
  • Exert critical thinking to provide complex preventative or corrective actions for clients with diverse needs, solving problems that interfere with their ability to perform daily activities.
  • Partner with clients, family members, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment goals and service plans.
  • Utilize a hybrid model of care, including face-to-face and virtual consultations, to build a schedule that meets the needs of clients and therapists alike.
  • Collaborate with a stable team of multi-disciplinary professionals to provide dedicated support, mentorship, and training.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a recognized Post-Secondary program in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current active registration and good standing as an Occupational Therapist with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
