Job Summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled Territory Sales Representative to join our team in Edmonton, AB. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for marketing and selling a variety of pet-related products to customers in the Edmonton area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Acquisition
    • Identify new customers through online research, leads, trade shows, and conferences.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers to promote product benefits and monitor sales volume.
    • Assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs and comply with regulations.
  • Negotiation and Contracting
    • Negotiate prices and terms for sales and service agreements.
    • Prepare sales contracts and process orders.
  • Collaboration and Follow-Up
    • Exchange information with colleagues regarding sales strategies and marketing insights.
    • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with purchases.
    • Provide product demonstrations highlighting benefits.
Requirements
  • Any pet product or nutrition experience in retail, customer service, or sales supervising is an asset.
  • General computer skills are required.
  • A blend of product knowledge, customer service, negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships is essential.
Compensation

The salary for this position is $80,000 plus commission, with the potential to earn up to $120,000 per year. Extended benefits are available after a probationary period.
