Job Title: Director of Certification

The Federation of Rental-housing Providers of Ontario (FRPO) is seeking a visionary and strategic Director of Certification to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical leadership role in managing and expanding The Canadian Certified Rental BuildingTM (CCRB) program, including the Living GREEN TogetherTM sustainability initiative.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and direct all aspects of The Canadian Certified Rental BuildingTM program (CCRB), including the Living GREEN TogetherTM sustainability program.
  • Oversee the operation, expansion, and enhancement of CCRB as a national program that promotes quality, excellence, service, and sustainability within the purpose-built multiunit residential rental housing industry.
  • Ensure the program's structure and operating standards accurately represent the differing legislative and operating environments across provinces.
  • Lead various education efforts that enhance industry professionals and promote a positive public image with government officials and the public.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in program management, preferably within the real estate or property management industry.
  • Excellent understanding of building and property management operations and expectations.
  • Knowledge of ESG and its role/use in real estate/property management industry.
  • Knowledge and understanding of diverse legislative, regulatory, property standards, and bylaw requirements that impact multiunit residential rentals, real estate, and property management sectors.
  • Proven ability to manage and grow programs operating in multiple provinces and on a national scale.
  • Strong project management skills with experience in coordinating events and managing budgets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including government officials and industry members, property management and building staff, and potentially residents.
Salary Range:$110,000 - $130,000/annum (based on experience)
