The Opportunity:

This leadership position is responsible for implementing the City's strategic direction through effective management of parking enforcement, licensing, and regulatory services. The successful candidate will have a strong background in municipal government, leadership, and management, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to parking enforcement and licensing
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff, including performance management and coaching
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to achieve the City's strategic objectives
  • Manage and analyze data to inform decision-making and improve service delivery
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with the public, internal departments, and external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role in municipal government or a related field
  • Proven track record of success in a similar role, with a focus on leadership, management, and service delivery
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and analyze data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary range: $97,260 - $121,575 per annum
  • 75 hours biweekly, Monday to Friday, with some evening and weekend work required
