Occupational Therapist II

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist II to join our Primary Care team at Northern Health Authority. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work collaboratively with interprofessional teams to develop and implement plans of care for patients, promoting their participation in valued activities and achieving optimal health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans to address patients' occupational needs
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide person-centered care and promote patient engagement
- Develop and implement interventions to enhance patients' participation in daily activities and occupations
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery
- Graduate of a recognized Occupational Therapy program
- Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
