Job Title: Senior Manager, Market Strategy

At Arterra Wines Canada, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Market Strategy to lead our commercial strategy and drive profitable growth of our Agency partnership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create annual and long-term commercial strategies for the Agency portfolio, including portfolio management, pricing, promotion, shelving, and distribution.
  • Develop and implement trade investment strategies to optimize revenue and profitability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure strategies align with customer priorities and opportunities.
  • Own market coherency between all regions and channels, creating brand and product guardrails for pricing and promotion.
  • Review promotional calendars and deliver promo optimization.
  • Work with Marketing and Agency partners to plan activities and initiatives to understand consumer behavior.
  • Own business review routines, reporting insights and creating action plans to deliver business objectives.
  • Identify market trends, competition impact, and white space analysis.
  • Drive innovation business cases and long-term brand development.
  • Coach and develop a team of 10 people to increase productivity and responsibility.

COMPENSATION: Budgeted Range – $114,246-$147,848

The budgeted range takes into account several factors and qualifications that are considered in making compensation decisions, including experience, education, training, licenses, certifications, and other business and organizational requirements. Base pay is only one component of the total rewards offering at Arterra.
