We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team at Canadian Industrial Supplies and Services Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors' activities to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Evaluate daily operations and implement improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including scheduling and resource allocation
  • Select and manage trade subcontractors to ensure high-quality work
  • Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates and manage project finances
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers to support project delivery
  • Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, and monitor progress to ensure projects are completed on time
  • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control to ensure high-quality work
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems to support project delivery
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schemas, and drawings to ensure accurate project execution
  • Plan and manage budgets to ensure projects are completed within budget
  • Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions to support project delivery
  • Develop and implement quality control programs to ensure high-quality work
  • Develop risk management plans to mitigate potential risks and ensure project success
  • Oversee the analysis of data and information to inform project decisions
  • Prepare reports to stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in construction project management
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 30 to 40 hours per week
Working Environment:
  • Urban area
  • Outdoors and interior work environments
