Your Role

As a key member of the HR team, you will play a vital role in developing and executing the organization's compensation and benefits strategy. You will be responsible for ensuring that our programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Manage Compensation Programs: Design, implement, and manage comprehensive compensation programs across all levels of the organization, including job evaluation, market analysis, pay structures, and incentive plans.
  • Partner with Finance: Collaborate closely with the finance team to ensure accurate payroll processing, develop compensation models, and integrate compensation strategies into budgetary planning.
  • Administer Benefits Programs: Oversee the administration of employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other welfare benefits. Conduct regular reviews to ensure competitiveness and cost-effectiveness.
  • Drive Employee Engagement: Analyze compensation trends and best practices to develop strategies that attract, retain, and motivate top talent.
  • Ensure Compliance: Stay abreast of relevant employment laws and regulations, ensuring all compensation and benefits programs comply with legal requirements.
  • Lead and Develop Team: Manage a team of compensation and benefits professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management.
Qualifications

We are seeking a highly qualified individual with a proven track record in compensation and benefits management.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in developing and administering compensation and benefits programs, preferably within a multi-provincial organization.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified HR Professional (CPHR) or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) are highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
