Job Title: Site Superintendent

Michael Page International Canada Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Superintendent to join their team. As a key member of the construction management team, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities, including subcontractors and tradespeople, to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Communication: Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and that all parties are informed and aligned.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure workmanship meets company standards and that projects are completed to the required quality.
  • Safety Management: Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on site.
  • Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of project expenses, materials, and manpower utilization to ensure transparency and accountability.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience as an ICI Superintendent, managing institutional developments.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of construction methods, techniques, and materials, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Certifications: Gold Seal certification or equivalent credentials highly desirable.
  • Software: Familiarity with construction management software and tools.
