Job Opportunity: Intermediate Solution Architect

We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Solution Architect to join our team at S.i. Systems. As a key member of our IT team, you will work on a diverse portfolio of projects in support of e-commerce and retail initiatives within the automotive parts industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Research emerging technologies and trends to solve complex problems
  2. Act as a key decision maker to identify future IT landscape
  3. Identify interconnections across departments and carry projects through planning to implementation with a heavy focus on documentation and vendor accountability
  4. Support E-commerce, Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing initiatives
  5. Utilize broad knowledge of various platforms and technology to support the business in developing architectural documentation for a variety of projects
  6. Work with a variety of Software as a Service providers to conceptualize ideas and transition work to their vendor partners
  7. Mentor junior architect for project initiatives and architectural best practices
Requirements:
  1. 5+ years of experience architecting solutions
  2. Work experience background in Retail, E-commerce, and ERP systems
  3. Experience creating mockups using Visio, DPI Mockups, and MIRA
  4. Ability to be onsite in Winnipeg 5 days a week
