Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and stock merchandise, including fruits, vegetables, and other products, in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Prepare and display produce, including cutting, wrapping, and labeling, to ensure a visually appealing and fresh product.
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the produce department and surrounding areas.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and inventory management to ensure that the store is well-stocked and visually appealing.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience an asset.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
