Job Summary:

CB Canada is seeking a skilled Comptable to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the monthly accounting cycle, including verifications, reconciliations, and adjustments;
  • Validate large volumes of expense accounts and credit card statements;
  • Contribute to the development of cost estimates;
  • Manage inventory, transfers, and costs by division/branch;
  • Produce internal and government reports and analyses;
  • Reconcile Canadian and American bank accounts;
  • Assist in the preparation of the year-end audit package;
  • Contribute to process improvements, internal controls, etc.;
  • Support other departments as needed;
  • Perform other related tasks.

Requirements:

  • Required qualifications: Certificate in accounting/administration (an asset) or equivalent experience;
  • Technical training in accounting;
  • 3 years of experience in similar roles;
  • Knowledge of Great Plains (an asset);
  • Advanced Excel skills.
