Lead Advisor Distribution in Central Canada

About the Role

Reporting to the Advisory National Sales Manager, Advisor Distribution, this Director will lead and implement TD Asset Management's distribution strategy across Central Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive growth and performance within your assigned region.
  • Lead, develop, and hold accountable a team of wholesalers (Regional Vice Presidents, Business Development Managers, Business Development Associates, and Inside Sales Manager) to expand TDAM's presence.
  • Attract, develop, and retain top talent within your team.
  • Share best practices across the industry related to sales, marketing, portfolio construction, and business development.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external partners to maximize distribution effectiveness and deliver a seamless client experience.
  • Stay informed about market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments.
  • Build strong relationships with key industry contacts to support your region's success.
  • Provide valuable input on the development of annual sales targets, performance criteria, reward and recognition programs, compensation structures, and key performance indicators.
  • Uphold corporate and industry sales practices.

Skills & Experience:

  • University Degree required.
  • Preference given to industry accreditations (CFA, CIM, CFP, FCSI).
  • 10+ years of proven experience in the financial services industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of both asset management and wealth management sectors.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
