Position Overview

We are in search of a skilled and experienced HR Manager to oversee our human resources division. The successful candidate will possess a robust background in human resources management, a comprehensive understanding of employment legislation and best practices, and a commitment to fostering a positive workplace environment. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping our employee experience, spearheading HR initiatives, and ensuring organizational compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business objectives.
  • Supervise and manage the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain exceptional talent.
  • Address employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, and engagement strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to provincial, state, and federal employment laws and regulations in both the US and Canada.
  • Oversee compensation, benefits, and performance evaluation programs.
  • Lead training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career advancement.
  • Create and maintain HR policies and procedures that reflect the company’s values and ensure consistency across the organization.
  • Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for employees.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to management and staff on HR-related issues.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with the company’s values.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in HR management, with a proven ability to lead HR initiatives.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Breezy HR, PayChex, Asana, Slack, and Google Suite is advantageous.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of American and Canadian employment law is beneficial.
  • PHR/SPHR certification is a plus.
