Role Overview:

We are seeking a Landscape Maintenance Supervisor to oversee our maintenance teams in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, and assigning daily tasks to a landscape maintenance crew. You will provide on-site training to crew members in landscape maintenance techniques that align with Earthscape's operational standards and quality expectations. Additionally, you will plan labor, equipment, and material needs to ensure timely project completion. Your role will also involve recommending improvements for the lawn and garden care of our clients, while upholding safety and organizational standards across all work sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Embody Earthscape's core values of integrity, teamwork, and excellence;
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients;
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of local flora and their maintenance requirements;
  • Identify and recommend solutions for turf, plant, and tree care;
  • Possess over 5 years of experience in ornamental horticulture and landscape maintenance;
  • Have hands-on experience in various landscaping tasks, including pruning, mulching, and turf care;
  • Lead and mentor a team to maintain high-quality residential landscapes;
  • Exhibit a growth mindset and a willingness to learn continuously;
  • Promote a safe working environment for all team members;
  • Strive for excellence in all tasks performed;
  • Hold a valid G Class driver's license.
