Key Responsibilities- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize waste.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, taking into account seasonal fluctuations and menu changes.
- Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that food and service meet our high standards.
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, providing solutions and alternatives when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, using this data to inform future purchasing decisions and optimize inventory management.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure that all food is presented attractively and served promptly.
- Establish and manage work schedules to ensure that all staff are adequately trained and prepared to meet the demands of our busy food service operation.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Permanent employment with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
